Who: Scouts and Registered Adult Leaders 

ALL SCOUTS should make every effort to be there. 

    What: 2020 March Planning weekend for all of 2021.
    This is a fantastic campout for you to experience the core of the BSA Troop planning evolution.  
    
    When: Friday March 20th through Sunday March 22nd

    Where: Rum River Scout Camp 
                15659 St. Francis Blvd NW
                 Ramsey, MN 55303
    The Troop has reserved the Colbert Activity Building (Con# 11Y8L)

    Why: You simply can not have a plan without this weekend to create it.

    Estimated Cost: $10 per attendee
    
    Departure: Meet at Otter Lake Elem. School on Friday, March 20th at 5:45pm for 6:00pm departure. Eat supper before arriving.
    
    Returning:  Sunday around 11 am. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes.

    Sign-up:   Sign-up online or on sign up sheet will be at the troop meetings. No shows and cancellations after March 1st will be charged $30.

    We will be planning for the upcoming year, as well as working on team building activities. Some activities will be outside, so be prepared!

   This is your chance to be heard, Please come with at least ONE new idea for a camp out.

  

PLEASE NOTE:

  This facility is rated as "moderate" and there are no bunks. We'll be sleeping warm indoors but we will be on the floor.

Scouts should bring:

One complete set of non-cotton clothes for outdoor activities: polyester, poly-pro, wool or nylon

2 underwear

2 pair long pants

2 shirts

Sweatshirt

Winter jacket

Hat and gloves

Boots

Closed toe shoes

Sleeping clothes

Cot or Sleeping Pad

Sleeping bag

Pillow

Scout book

Flashlight

Head lamp

Pocketknife

Water bottle

Backpack or duffel bag

Plastic bag for dirty clothes


Smellables (personal hygiene):

Toothbrush/toothpaste

Deodorant

Soap and washcloth

Personal medication



Wear Class A uniform with a Class B underneath for traveling

We will be sleeping in a heated facility. Check the weather and pack accordingly.
