Who: Registered Scouts grade 5 and older, and Scouters What: Winter Camping with all day outdoor activities When: February 11th to 12th, 2017 Where: Stearns Scout Camp Why: To have fun, while playing outdoors in the winter (Participants spend Saturday Night Inside) Cost: $70/Scout, $65 Adults Departure: 8:00 am at Otter Lake Elementary School - Eat supper before arriving. Please arrive 10 minutes early to load vehicles. Returning: Sunday around 11:30am. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes. Sign-up: Sign-up sheet will be at the troop meetings. Cancellations will be charged $70 after January 3rd. Description: The North Wind Experience Program is an introductory program designed to teach younger scouts how to stay warm in the winter while having fun! Activities Available: Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, team building games, Broomball orienteering, winter cooking , first aid, winter nature hike.
