Troop 494 Who: Registered Scouts and Scouters What: Rock Climbing and Outdoor Activities When: May 20 - 22, 2016 Where: Interstate State Park, near Taylors Falls Why: To go Rock Climbing while having fun camping with the Troop Cost: $110 per Scout for climbing, $35 per scout for hiking only, $25 per Adult To sign up for hiking only add "non climbing" to notes section of sign up sheet. Departure: Otter Lake Elementary on Friday, May 20th at 6:00pm. Eat supper before arriving. Returning: Sunday around noon. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes. Sign-up: Sign-up sheet will be at the troop meetings. Cancellations after May 1st will be charged $75 Cancellations after May 17th will be charged $110 This camp trip will consist of Rock Climbing led by experienced Vertical Endeavors Guides and a lot of outdoor activities. Scouts should bring: Complete change of clothes and extra socks 2 underwear 2 pair pants 2 shirts Sweatshirt and/or jacket Hat/Gloves Closed toe shoes – for climbing Sleeping clothes Rain Gear Hat and gloves Sleeping bag Pillow Sleeping pad Scout book Flashlight Pocketknife Mess kit, cup, knife, fork and spoon (plastic recommended) Water bottle Backpack or duffle bag Plastic bag for wet clothes Smellables (personal hygiene): Toothbrush/toothpaste Soap and washcloth Personal medication Wear Class A uniform with a Class B underneath for traveling Check the weather forecast to see how cold it might get and pack accordingly.
