Willow River


Who: All Scouts are welcome and Encouraged to attend

What: Hiking, Outdoor Cooking Challenge and Outdoor Fun

When: May 19th-21st, 2017

Where: Willow River State Park, Wisconsin

Why: To have fun with outdoor activities and a cook-off challenge

Cost: $35/Scout and $20/Adult

Departure: Otter Lake Elem. School on Friday, May 19that 6:00pm. Eat supper before arriving.

Returning: Sunday around 11 am. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes.

Sign-up: Sign-up online or on sign up sheet will be at the troop meetings. No shows and cancellations after May 16th will be charged $15.

We will be hiking to a waterfall, working on team building activities and having a cooking challenge. All activities will be outside, so be prepared!

We will be camping in Tents in the group camping area.


Scouts should bring:

Complete change of clothes and extra socks     

2 underwear

2 pair pants

2 shirts

Sweatshirt and/or jacket 

Hat/Gloves

Sleeping clothes    

Rain Gear

Sleeping bag

Sleeping pad

Pillow



Mess kit, cup, knife, fork and spoon (plastic recommended)

Water bottle

Backpack or duffle bag

Plastic bag for wet clothes

Scout book

Flashlight

Pocketknife


Smellables (personal hygiene):

Toothbrush/toothpaste

Deodorant

Soap and washcloth

Personal medication



Wear Class A uniform with a Class B underneath for traveling

We will be sleeping in tents. Check the weather and pack accordingly.
