Who: Registered Scouts grade 7 and older, and Scouters What: Winter Camping with all day outdoor activities When: February 10th to 12th, 2017 Where: Stearns Scout Camp Why: To have fun, while playing outdoors in the winter (Participants get to spend Saturday Night Outside) Cost: $85/Scout, $80 Adults Departure: 5:45 pm at Otter Lake Elementary School - Eat supper before arriving. Please arrive 10 minutes early to load vehicles. Returning: Sunday around 3:30pm. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes. Sign-up: Sign-up sheet will be at the troop meetings. Cancellations will be charged $85 after January 3rd. Description: The North Wind Adventure Program is the first introduction to sleeping outside in the winter time. Learn how to stay warm and have fun! Scouts get to Choose from a long list of activities to customize our campout to the interest of the scouts attending. Activities Available: Winter shelter building, ice climbing, shooting sports, geocaching, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, team building games, Orienteering, winter cooking , ice safety, night hike.
