Survivorman Campout

posted May 15, 2016, 6:48 PM by Scout Historian
On this campout the boys made a survival kit out of a Tic-Tac box. The kits contained a striker, matches, wood shavings for tinder, fish hook and fishing line, needle and thread, duct tape and a band-aid. They also learned how to build a lean-to shelter. They also learned how to build a natural shelter, which is a shelter made with your surroundings. A highlight from the campout was cinnamon rolls from the dutch oven.
