Trailer Outfitting Fundraiser
The troop general operating budget has traditionally been dependent on our adult leader corporate "volunteer hour" grants and troop membership dues. Due to the variable nature of these funds, the troop has investigated other opportunities to generate the funds needed to continue providingan engaging program for our scouts and help grow the troop.
We need your help!
To accomplish the above goals, we need your support in helping the troop:

Finish outfitting our food vendor trailer. The troop has already procured a small trailer using funds from last year's sale.

Purchase the remaining $2600 in "food grade" equipment needed to run the food stands this summer.

Promote the scouting program to help us grow and ensure continues success for Troop 494 in the future.

Based on this new avenue of community participation, the troop is anticipating:

Scouts can fund their Scoutbuck accounts through hours worked at these events.

Providing new opportunities for self-directed high adventures. This summer our high adventure is a 10-day trip to the Badlands.

The Scouts are provided with a real-world business experience through helping managethe fundraiser in additionto running the sales night events.
