Founded in April 1994 (hence the number - 494), we have been a member of the White Bear Lake community for over 30 years! We are a chartered organization, supported by White Bear Lake Rotary. Our mission is to build well-rounded ethical leaders for tomorrow... and to have some fun along the way!
Leadership
Troop 494 believes that the scouts should write their own adventure. Primary leadership roles are held by scouts, elected by members of their troop. Adult volunteers are actively involved to help the scouts run their program and make their way down on the eagle trail.

Eagle Trail
Eagle Scout is the most esteemed rank an individual can achieve in scouting. Some of America's greatest leaders were / are Eagle Scouts. < 5% of all scouts nationally earn the rank of Eagle. But over 25% of Troop 494 scouts have reached this rank.
Obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout is not for the faint of heart... but YOU CAN do it!
