Doing Our Best... Every Day!
Originally Pack 437, our pack was re-launched as Pack 494 in 2025. Pack 494 is excited to invite all elementary youth (ages 5 - 11) to join us in age-appropriate adventures. We learn to do our best every day, no matter the outcome.
Belonging to a Den
Cub Scouts starts here! The den is a group of 6 to 8 scouts in the same grade. In the den, we develop new skills and interests, practice sportsmanship and good citizenship, and learn to do our best, not just for ourselves but for the den.
The dens together make up the Pack.
Family units are also an integral part of our community and learning! Adult family members provide leadership and help ensure Scouts have a good experience. We have a wonderful community of families ready to welcome you!
Recognition, Advancement, & Activities
Recognition is important to everyone. The advancement plan provides fun and gives scouts a sense of personal achievement. Badges are age appropriate. Other activities (games, projects, skits, stunts, songs, outdoor activities, trips, and service projects) reinforce our learning and add to the fun.

In Pack 494, we learn best in a "see do" environment. We don't like to sit for long! Adventures come in all shapes and sizes; from learning a new skill to outdoor activities, special events, and engagements with our troop (ages 11+). These adventures help us to earn our rank badges and develop the aims of scouting: character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness. And, we have a ton of fun doing it!
