January Camp-out

“Winter Camp at Tomahawk"

Who: Registered Scouts and Scouters

        Snow Huskies is for 5th grade and older scouts

        Dog Sledding is for 7th grade and older scouts

What: Snow Huskies and Dog Sledding - Winter Camp

        Snow Huskies is two nights - indoors at White Pine bunk house, with all day outdoor activities

        Dog Sledding is two nights - sleep indoors, with option for outdoor Saturday night

When: January 15 - 17, 2016

Where: Tomahawk Scout Reservation near Rice Lake, WI

Why: To have fun, while playing outdoors in the winter (Spearhead participants get to spend one night outside)!

Cost:    Snow Huskies - $75 per Scout and $65 per Adult

            Dog Sledding - $205 per Scout and $65 per Adult

Departure: 5:45 pm at Otter Lake Elementary School -  Eat supper before arriving.  Please arrive 10 minutes early to load vehicles.

Returning: About 3:00 pm on Sunday - Scouts will be dropped off at their homes.

Sign-up: Sign-up sheet will be at the troop meetings. Cancellations after November 30 will be charged camp fee - may find substitutes.

This is a camp that Troop 494 only attends every couple years, so don't miss your opportunity this year!
